Comet Panstarrs 2012 K1 fading fast

Observed comet Panstarrs 2012 last night for the first time Since May when it was on the other side of the Sun and way up north in Ursa major.

Plotting the co-ordinates using "Astronomy 2104" put it close to Zeta Horologium, and sure enough it was around 1 degree SW of this star.

Seems to be fading fast as the predicted magnitude was around 7 and the comet was at least 1 mag fainter than the nearby GC 1261. (mag 8.3)
I would estimate around mag 9.5 at present.

I think you may need a 6" scope to see it from now on as I could not see it with 7 x 50 binoculars

Well located at present for those in southern latitudes so look now to add to your comet collection.
