Balancing act

Hi all. I recently brought a Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer to use with my Nikon DSLR and I'm more than impressed with it's performance. Having it mounted onto a Bosch tripod with an adaptor makes for a sturdy mount. I then got the idea of buying a Sky-Watcher 80mm short tube Achromatic refractor. Well, after setting it all together I had a balance issue, so after finding a point where balancing the scope/camera was ok with some room for adjustment, I set about working some "L" profile 50mm x 25mm x 4mm aluminium moulding into a bracket which places the balance point closer to the focuser. Now, when the camera/finder scope is fitted, no problems!
