Hi All
Like quite a few others on here I was out on Friday night , Saturday morning getting some images of the Ganymede transit. Didn't come out as well as I'd hoped as the seeing wasn't as good as forecasts suggested. The jetstream was supposed to be quite gentle but a warmish N/NW breeze came up after midnight and that always spells trouble for getting steady skies and the breeze was just enough to make the scope move around. Doesn't make for ideal conditions for capturing detail, anyway I tried and there isn't another such transit for a while..

Never mind Jeff, at least you captured the moment which your image proves. It's been difficult these last few weeks finding a night with decent seeing. I've still yet to be out there capturing on a good night. So far, every night I've tried has been average to bad seeing. Despite your disappointment, they're still a reasonable result with plenty to look at.
Thanks again guys, appreciate the encouragement. Am having a hard time trying to process the avis' and images and they look a lot darker and more yellowish when uploaded. Still have a few more avis' to work through but the comp. keeps freezing when trying to stack in Registax, the hard drive is about 90% full, running out of storage space fast.
