I bought some admittedly cheap flocking from Spotlight, which is very thin and has started to peel away to such an extent that I've ripped it all out.

Bob, my two bottles of Black 2.0 are on their way.
Thank you for the link buddy.
Can't wait to use them but not on my scopes, I'll be using them on other projects.

Are you working on the ultimate black light?

You'll need a few coats, 'cos I reckon the first few will get torched in a hurry.

That was Protostar flocking paper. In my opinion, the glue that they were using at the time was heat sensitive and softened quickly in warm weather. I definitely wouldn't use that paper again if it was going anywhere near optical surfaces.

I got an SMS literally 2 minutes ago telling me my order shipped today.

I'll be airbrushing mine over a base coat of blackboard black - just to be sure

Mine JUST arrived after Customs decided to probably drug test it

Sample run on some wood shows DEEP black even while wet (applied over uneven wood, so a good test for reflection scatter), so this is definitely promising!

My first test - applied to varnished wood. single hand-brushed coat (flows BEAUTIFULLY and no streaking).

Can't see any reflections. Even shining a torch on it minimally brightens it (it's not absorptive like Vanta black, but you can't buy Vanta Black)
