Celestron 8 Evolution SCT with AZ Mount (As New)

I am selling this virtually brand new Celestron 8 Evolution SCT telescope including the fork mount and tripod on behalf of my aunt. It has only been taken out of the original packaging once to check that everything was complete and working. It has never been outdoors. It proved too heavy for my aunt since she wanted a scope with which she could travel without too much bulk. The Celestron 8 Evolution is, however, still a very portable scope.

Everything is in pristine condition with the original packaging as can be seen in the attached photos. The corrector plate and mirror are as new as can also be seen in the photos.

Standard accessories are included, as well as a Thousand Oaks Optical dew controller which was originally purchased for a 25cm Dobsonian but will fit this scope.

Price is $2000 Firm, with pick up being preferred. A pickup location can be arranged either on the Gold Coast or in Brisbane.

EDIT: This is a Farstar compatible scope that can be used with a Hyperstar.

Please PM me for further details (or email me on terryjlovejoy@yahoo.com).

It looks like you are correct Netwolf! It seems like the original invoice and sale docket incorrectly attribute this as a Model #11069 (SE) where it is clearly a Model #12091 (Evolution). Wow thanks for your eagle eye and letting me know. Will correct ad.
