Jupiter 24/7/19

Managed to gather some video of Jupiter on Tues evening with the Red Spot transiting. Wanted to get the transit of Io a little later but the seeing went to crap, was about 5/10 to start with but I gave up when it was more like looking at a fish underwater. Not ideal ( when is it ever ) but at least I got something usable.
What I still find amusing is how quickly Jupiter rotates, check how far the Red Spot has moved in the 20 mins. between image 1 & 2.
Details are , for those interested, best 600 of 4000 frame video processed in Registax with a little doctoring in Canon Zoombrowser for colour balance, saturation and contrast.

Hi Jeff

Looks quite good for the seeing conditions, so aptly named.

It has been quite horrible here too.

Seeing has not been so good lately. But you have the moon (Io?) nicely shown
