Telescope case

Hi

Did a search, no relavent result.

Any ideas on a generic scope case for Skyrover 115 refractor, preferably hard shell

Aprox 1000mm x 30mm x 30mm

Go for a walk around your area and find an old bloke in khaki overall with decent shed.

Depends on the budget, but thin wall (1.2mm-ish) stainless or aluminium pipe split laterally with internal open-cell foam could do the trick. Check your local fabrication shops - they might have some off cuts around the right length. Wouldn't go narrower than 75NB though.

I use the CASEED120 for my Tak TSA102. Works well. (The smaller CASEED100 would probably work too, but they didn't have it when I first got the Tak.)

Pelican cases will have something that will fit it no worries, however they've got a hefty price tag to boot.
