I had problems getting the DSI to focus with my 10" newt. I moved the mirror forward using longer colimation bolts and have subsequently changed to a lower profile focuser. If you are using the 1 1/4" nosepiece with a 2"-1 1/4" adaptor you can change to a lower profile nosepiece arrangement to allow the nosepiece to fit further into the focuser.

Hi Peter,
I got the camera to work so far on the moon without doing any major changers to the focus or adjusting the main mirror .I mite play around with the moon and the planets and learn to use the camera before I try deep space .
Thank for your help
