ST-i guide camera and lens accessory kit - feedback please

Hi all, just looking at getting the SBIG ST-I guider and lens kit.

Is there anyone with experience with this kit that could give me some feedback to help with my purchase decision that would be greatly appreciated.

I plan to use it with a 132mm f7 refractor (925mm focal length)

thanks
Brett

I have the guider and it is great. I don't have the lens kit but have the efinder I use with my ST402ME. That worked well so I imagine its similar but easier to use than the efinder.

Greg.

Hi Brett

I use the SBIG STi with a WO 66mm F7 refractor as guide scope and I am very pleased with the STi’s performance.

However, it is worth noting that I have used SBIG cameras and (the now retired) CCSDSoft camera control app for several years now so for me, the choice was a no-brainer.

Cheers

Dennis
