Dragons of ARA 4.5 hours acquisition and reprocess

Added another 2 hours from a different night to the originals , also added HA extracted from the L-Enhance filter using Astropixel processor. Used Deepskystacker for the stacking and hours on Photoshop. Also used starnet ++ to extract the stars and then blended them altogether Hope this gets some feedback for improvement or otherwise thanks.

Hmmm - kinda looks painterly, which is interesting
However, most of the intricate details have been lost, maybe too much NR?

Stars have dark rings around them as well - no easy task to layer them back in, are you doing that in PS?
If so , maybe try them in lighten blend mode.

Takes a while to get this stuff refined, and your images improve more every time, well done!

Overall a fine image but I agree with Andy it has an overly smoothed look which creates an artificial feeling.

But colours are good, stars are round, quite 3D looking and you got those gas streams coming off the ridge. A lot is right.

Greg.

I've added a less smoothed version to see how this goes, I'm also going to look at acquiring it with my 130 but waiting on a guide scope.

The latest version is looking pretty good! The mottling from noise reduction has been removed. Great colour!
