The Worst Object

Here are two questions for experienced visual observers.

1. What is the worst (least impressive) object in the attached list?
2. What would you replace it with?

I want a list of:
20 OC, 20 GC, 20 Neb, 20 PN and 30 Gxy
south of declination -20 deg.

On 23/6 I saw 19 objects from this list.
Last night I saw 88 objects from this list, it was a perfect night.
I have 3 more to revisit, NGCs 1792, 1808 and 1851.

Alex suggested I clarify what I mean by worst.
I mean the least impressive object.

If you have a large telescope I suggest you replace the PN NGC 2867 with the PN NGC 2899.

I saw NGCs 1792, 1808 and 1851 this morning and finished ticking off my list of 110 DSO.
It is cold, minus 0.3 C in Casino. The coldest temp in Casino last winter was +1.8 C.

One of my favourite pairs is the PN NGC 6445 and the GC NGC 6440. They are 22' apart and the PN is 2 degrees from the OC M23.
Stevec35 has a great image of it http://members.pcug.org.au/~stevec/n...03_RC_LRGB.jpg

Halley at St Helena

I have just been looking at Halley's visit to St Helena Island in the South Atlantic.
His observatory was here http://goo.gl/maps/yjW5H

I just read this article
Edmond Halley’s southern star catalogue
First accurate survey of the southern sky
http://www.ianridpath.com/startales/...tm#observatory

Sometimes it is said that Halley discovered the globular cluster Omega Centauri, but this is not strictly true. He did describe his 21st entry in Centaurus as a nebula, but it had already been included in the Almagest by Ptolemy without mention of its nebulosity. Halley was, though, the first to record the peculiar variable star we now know as Eta Carinae, which was then of 4th magnitude.
