My first Jupiter of the apparition

Rather late in the season but finally I produced an image. The seeing was barely good enough to bother trying.

However it is interesting to see the multitude of colours. I did not use any colour saturation, just straight RGB combine.

I had to capture about 8 minutes of AVIs and use Jupos derotation. Also I had to keep image scale rather small.

Done with the old 16" D-K and ASI120.

I was out on that night too and was surprise to get good images from otherwise ordinary seeing in Melbourne ! Excellent image !!
