Hutech MFA EOS front filter system question

Hi all...
I've been looking at the new Hutech EOS "Clip In" system which employs a filter ring screwed into the camera body which you then screw compatible sized filters into...
http://www.tan14.com/Dwg/mfa.pdf

I'm worried though that this ring might stop me using my narrowband Astronomik clip in filters as it is a (semi) permanent installation in the DSLR body. Not sure if the Astronomik filters will clear the Hutech ring!?

Anyone using this system?

I'll email Hutech too.

Doug

I've seen these doug but not used them. It appears they use the same alcove/recess that the clip filters use. You wouldn't want to use a notch type LP filter with a NB filter in case they overlap.

Hi Robin - I think you're correct...there's only so much room in there after all to fit anything!!

I didn't intend to use 2 filters concurrently though - just wondered if that ring, which looks like it's a permanent feature once mounted, would impede the seperate use of the Astronomik clips.

Buggered if I'm going to unmount that MFA ring each time I swap from LP to NB filter - very messy.

I've emailed Ted at Hutech for the final word
