Guiding with diagonal in line

Does anybody use a diagonal on their guide scope?

Would this effect the PHD guiding in any way?

Thanks

I tried it once. Definitely works better with an extension tube to get enough back focus than it does with a diagonal.

The guidescope I want to use only has a 1.25 focuser so I don't have an extender that is why the question about the diagonal.

Won't affect PHD. I did straight, barlowed, diagonal, pick-up prism (OAG). It's all good.

Marc,

Thanks for the thumbs up. Not a cloud in the sky at the moment. Fingers crossed.

I use a diagonal otherwise I can't achieve focus with my QHY guider. It is very light and doesn't seem to flex.
