What exactly are you doing?
The procedure is:
1) open picture files
2) open dark files (and other calibration files)
3) Check all
4) register checked pictures
and then you wait. There should not be any issues.... not here anyway, with both beta and stable version.

when i open them they DONT appear in the list at the bottom... so i cant click check all because it says load files first.
You have to choose the extension (file type), then the list will appear and you can select your files. (you should shoot in raw, extension then will be CR2)
hey guys, thats not the issue, i can see them and select them fine... they are raw cr2 files... the issue is once i click ok in the add window they dont show up in the list down the bottom... im seriously so cranky right now hahaha
Unless there's been an update, the beta version will stack Canon RAW images, the other versions won't. At least this is what I and others found.
Standard version does it OK, but not for newer Canon cameras.
For example, 400d format is stacked with old version, but 60D is not handled well (that is why I had to switch to beta version).
However, here it seems its something else going on - Bendy doesn't have a list of files in subdirectory.
Once this extension issue is sorted out, you will have to pay attention to subdirectories for new files - DSS remembers the last sub-folder for particular set of files, so if you are not aware of this, you may be easily confused...

And they afre coming up... i can select them fine but when i clic open on that exact window... they dont show up in the list at the bottom for me to check them
Maybe some mac people may be of better help here - I am w'man (not entirely by my own decision, though).
Or. try to ask question on yahoo group - I am sure they will help.
Or even better - contact the author of DSS directly!
