Meade 114mm DS-2000 Mount
Hi all,
I have a friend who has asked me to clean up their poorly stored telescope. From what I can tell it's one of those Meade 114mm, f/8.8, reflector scopes mounted on what seems to be a Meade DS-2000 mount (from a quick google search and look at the Meade website).
The tube itself is is in reasonable condition, just needs some TLC to bring it back to life, but the mount is not so good. One of the leg supports is completely broken. And to make it works it's one of those modular mounts which only fits the tripod.
If anyone has any idea where I might be able to source a second hand mount or even if someone has a second unit they are not wanting anymore, let's maybe make a bargain.
