ADM Dual EQ6 Series Saddle

Hi Fellow IISers,

I have for sale a brand new, unused "ADM DV series saddle plate for Skywatcher EQ6/Orion Atlas mounts" (see link for full details)

http://www.admaccessories.com/produc...-atlas-mounts/

Current pricing is $USD150 + International Shipping $USD33.00 = $USD183.00 (Conversion on 12/07/2017 = $AUD239.12 landed on our shores)

I am asking $220.00 (Domestic postage included). I will accept Cash on pickup, Bank deposit or Paypal (+2.5%).

Bought for a project that never got off the ground.

If you are interested PM me please.

Cheers
Darren

Having both a HEQ5 and EQ6, the head size is larger on the EQ6 so it won't fit into the HEQ5.

Sorry Aceman,

I am not so familiar with the Skywatcher mounts. I don't actually own one.

Thanks for supplying the answer Collin. I was busy searching the net for an answer, but haven't managed to find one yet.

Cheers

I have the same unit. It attaches to the head via a couple of bolts. HEQ5 don't have a bolt down "puck" so I don't think so is the answer.
But you can contact ADM directly to see if they have an adapter for the cross fit?

You can simply change the EQ6 puck for an HEQ5 puck. They're US$30 from ADM plus shipping.

ADM Dual EQ6 Series Saddle

Hi Rod,

The puck is the EQ6 standard profile. I understand that the new profile puck is listed as EQ6N, (the standard puck is listed as EQ6).

Also I have noticed there are some marks on the puck from the grub screws that hold the puck in place.

I remember putting the puck on the mount that was in my lounge room. then as the project failed, I took the saddle & puck off the mount, and wrapped them in bubble wrap, then put the package away. I undid the bubble wrap today to take the pictures. Time frame between wrapping and unwrapping is around a year or two.

Cheers
Darren
