Ara Lioness

My new PC is allowing me to process earlier data with methods and with blisteringly fast feedback that was simply not possible on my decade old i7

What a difference 9 computing generations makes!

While the original version of this image gained a glittering prize, I rather like this new 2020 revamp.

The Lioness sits proudly at centre frame.

A fantastic image Peter, the blue shockwaves around the central star I haven’t seen before, outstanding.

Thank you one and all for chiming in. My palette choice is somewhat whimsical but still respects the physical processes going on. I rather like the SII turning up as green in this one.

I hope to have a new camera soon, as on paper at least, it has vastly improved QE and resolution. Those faint shock fronts need more exploring
