Andromeda from 26* Sth

Hi all, long time between posts for me so I thought I'd start with something easy
M31 transits at 22.5 degrees at my backyard location & is visible for about two hrs just above my neighbors roofline.
Shooting across a permanently lit drive way & at such low altitude this was a pain in the #%@$ to process but I though it might be worth posting given it's seldom imaged from down under.
Details are;
108 x 180 sec. exp. shot with ZWO ASI094MC Pro at unity gain through my Sharp Star 76EDPH@ F4.5 with an UV/IR cut filter. Acquired with Nebulosity IV, stacked in DSS & binned 2x2 prior to post processing with NebulosityIV & PS CS2.
This was fairly challenging target at my level of skill so comments & critical appraisal are welcome.
Best,
Tony

That's a superb M31. You picked up the dust really well.

Greg.

A very good M31 Tony. A great result particularly considering the conditions

Great work Tony, especially given the imaging conditions!

Having attempted this thing from Nhill at 9 degrees, I know that this thing is a hard job. You've done very well!

Really nice. You've got good details and colors. I did this one from Astrofest. It certainly helped having an extra 6 degrees above the Sydney horizon. Back home I'm in fences and clothelines territory.

Thank you Tim, Andy & Marc. I appreciate your positive comments, the value of peer opinion in this pursuit is not to be underestimated.
I'll continue gathering data on this target over the next few months to see what I can achieve by end of season.
Cheers,
Tony
