Other love called, wife answered!

I came home from errands to be informed by my Wife that "the other love of my life" called...I was taken aback and a little uncertain what she meant as I have always been a loyal husband. She let me squirm a little before spilling the beans.

It turns out Paige from AP called to finalize shipping for my new AP 130!

Should have it in a week or so...fingers crossed for good weather.

Also glad my Wife is supportive...she is basically of the opinion that if the worst of my mid-life crisis is tied to telescopes and related gear it is not too bad.

Exciting times! Also, I am saving this quote to show to my wife... My standard response to any questions about price or necessity is "you're lucky it's not meth", but the way you say it sounds much nicer

This really resonates with me. My household is a little like that. Does she refers to your scopes by first names yet? As if it was the competition.

My wife is a good sport and is usually game to have a look at what I am viewing. She is not 100% conversant in all of my scope and does not know their names.

I am a lucky guy...both in scopes and spouses.

Congrats on your AP130. I have the AP130GT and upgraded it with the larger focuser and flattener. The GTX lens has slightly better correction.

I really like its form. Its large enough aperture for visual. A great imaging instrument and not too large so it handles very easily.

I think its a very good size for imaging and visual.

Greg.
