Night Skys, The art of deep space

I found this book a while back and am a little curious as to where it came from, its a collection of photographic plates by David Malin .

It dosn't seem to be well published as far as I can tell
maybe it was sold at an exibition of his work ?

anyone know about it ? around 1997 i believe.
