NGC 6723 and surrounds

This session was cut short....clouds have moved in. Thank goodness.
I've processed this one with very tired eyes.
1hr and 45min of 5min subs.
Modded 20D and ED80.

I've added a crop of the reflection nebulae. I worked it a little differently this time.
More data is needed to smooth it out.

Well, out comes another very good image. I'm getting very jealous right now.

I'm praying for clear skies for this weekend, you've had an excellent run. Keep going.

That's very nice JJJ, this is such a stunning piece of sky. I'm hoping to have a go at it myself some time.

That's amazing JJJ.
I find it much harder said than done getting this area to "pop".

Wake up! Get out there again!

Very nice details jjj. Love the dust.
Looks like an alien spacecraft (romulan vessel) approaching the GC cautiously!

geek

Thanks for looking everyone. I'm glad you liked it.
I hope to add more to this tonight, if it stays clear, and the fog stays away.

I love that first shot JJ. If I focus around the blue reflection part and keep the GC off to the side, sort of in the corner of my eye, it looks very 3D, with the GC looking in the background behind the nebulosity. Very cool.

Thanks. Yes, I'm very fortunate to have relatively dark skies at my back door.
