Arp 245

I had grand plans of doing a nice deep integration on this before decommissioning the dome in favour of a roll-off, but the gods have conspired against me again so a paltry 3.9hrs is all I'll get on this target for the foreseeable future. Maybe next year!

Seeing (or perhaps tube currents, or maybe both) gave me some terrible subs, as high as 3.3" FWHM, but also some nice ones as low as 1.7" -- I integrated only those 2.65" and below.

Full res available on Astrobin here.

Shame you didn't get more time on it, Lee, but a good result anyway.

That is a nice pairing Lee. If you could get more time on it, I reckon it would be a belter of an image.

Thanks Colin! :-) I used PhotometricColourCalibration on this one which helped with the balance, but the colour data was very thin so I left it a bit more "natural" than I might otherwise have.

Cheers Dunk! Amazing what a tiny sensor can do for your curvature/collimation/godknowswhat issues.

Thanks Paul :-) It needs a tonne more data, I agree... alas I won't be getting any more for the foreseeable future. I'm out of action until the new observatory is built and I don't have the foggiest how long that will take.
