Pleiades

More images from my portable set up which I'm enjoying a lot more recently. Takes minutes to set up! I wish I took more subs but still fiddling with this
and problem solving that.

Hi Tony
That is a lovely shot. I have just purchase Skywatcher ED72 Evostar as a guide scope to replace my orion achromat. That shot shows remarkable color correction for a ED doublet, and for the price, unbelievable value for money.
I hadn't considered using mine for Astrophotography, that view might have to change.

Mine lives comfortably on top of my esprit as a guidescope but I bought it so I can use it as both. I had the ed80 before this which was ONLY being used as a guidescope (which doesnt do the scope justice). Now I have an imaging set up that fits in to a back pack (tight squeeze maybe) and takes minutes to set up.
