Tak extenders

I am starting to look forward to the year of the planets and to this end am thinking about the purchase of the Tak 1.5 focal extender.
I have a TSA120 and a TV 2” x2 powermate. My question to the panel is would it be worth paying out for the extender ($550) or will there be little to choose between the extender and the powermate. My eyepieces are Pentax XW and Fujiyama HDs. My eyes are old.
Thanks for any considered opinions

Dave,

They are really nice on the Taks - the extenders are as good optically as the rest.

Dave, the Extender 1.5 ED is very good. I used them on the TOA and TSA120..... I'll offer Lewis $50, then your offer will look great...
