Last night from Melbourne, seeing was variable, never good but ranged from poor to average and intermittent cloud formed then disappeared and formed again to make it a frustrating night. These were shot eyepiece projection through an 8 inch f5 Newt using a Canon 550d.
This is the best I could manage under these conditions, seeing improved toward midnight but the cold air got to me so I gave up and packed it all away. My intention was to shoot mars but there is very little surface detail to be seen at the moment so hopefully it will improve closer to opposition.
