Jupiter with Io

Seeing was disappointing as the jet stream being low I was hoping for something great with the GRS and Io in perfect positions.
Cheers, Phil.

Thanks Mike, Winjupos does a good job of aligning although it seems to mess with the colours and sharpening. I was lucky to have one of 6 RGB runs which had enough detail to highlight Io.

Cheers, Phil.

I agree with Mike. Those two photos you took (phil) were fantastic. I don't often see jupiter photos on here as good as this.

Thanks guys, your very generous comments encourage me to keep working at what seemed a few months ago an almost impossible task. I must pay tribute to Bird who continues to provide advice whenever I ask and sometimes when I make a mess and don't ask! Understanding what a decent planetary image should look like and how to get there is my goal which I'm slowly reaching.
Regards, Phil
