Hi Pete

You have made a good start, and have captured some great star colours.

Now time to work on focus and polar alignment.

I allocate (we all do) a lot of time to get things working properly.

If your next post is in the beginners forum (I live there) you will get great feedback almost straight away.

Regards

Peter

Thanks I'll work on polar alignment. I think the stars were in focus just poor seeing and aberrations at edge of image field of 300mm lens.
Cheers Peter

Hello Pete,

For what it's worth - a little processing (over processing) can make a difference too. With more work even more can be improved.

Cheers,

Tony.
