Astronomical refraction

Hi,

I am just starting to use a Polemaster to help align a SkyWatcher Star Adventurer and am wondering if it is best to use astronomical refraction at a latitude of 27.33 S? I read that I am pretty close to the latitude where this function should be used and am not sure if I should have this selected or not. What would work best for this latitude? Also, should I use Decimal Degrees for my latitude or Degrees Minutes Seconds? Any advice would be really appreciated.
