Hi All,
I have a Orion XX16g running version 4.05 for the synscan hand controller.
I have noticed I have been getting inconsistent tracking with the goto. It is off by several degrees after the first goto is spot on using the 12mm illuminated plossl.
I have confirmed:
- Time is correct
- Date is correct and in American format.
- Daylight savings is correct
- Latitude and longitude for Melbourne Australia is correct
- XX16g dob is on level ground and level itself
Checking the web some people mentioned disabling auxiliary encoders which is not an option in the handset menu.
I have only noticed this the past week that this has been occurring. Not sure if you can provide some ideas or assistance as to what is happening?
