Rain .........

It has been raining ' non stop ' here for a week .... yesterday I woke up to find a Pool in my front yard ..... the ground is saturated , my water tanks have been over flowing for the last 4 days ( wish I had 2 more tanks )

Right now outside, it's pouring still .....

Yep it's been raining for the same amount time, but there it is only fine.
Most we have had over 24 hours is 30mm which was yesterday.
Lots more down the coast though
Dams and tanks are all full and the Mary river is flowing a bit faster, but
no flooding as yet.

Everything is green in western Sydney as well. Drove to Merimbula twice in the past three weeks and even the area between Canberra and Cooma is greener than usual. The back of Bega is all green too and parts of Brown mountain gave way and cut the road because of the rain. Every dam or pit is full.

rain...............

Rain? That's something many of us dream about. So far we had a bit less than 205 mm since the beginning of the year. I guess that's what some people had in a day or two. On the bright side, we have a lot of blue sky and the nights are cool and dark
By the way, housing is also reasonable. A 3 bedroom brick house with a yard can set you back under 200 grand, leaving you some spare cash for an observatory without swmbo whinging too much.
