Rosette

I was more sorting out mount issues than imaging but was able to get about 50 mins worth although Rosette was somewhat low. I think I need to not use my monitor as on my laptop screen the blues look over saturated.

Karl

Edit: I didn't like how it looked on my phone so I changed it lol

Wow nice. What shot details? Aka ISO, Exposure time and number of shots?

Well done Karl.

Yes different screens give varying results, but I think all subjective at our skill level.

If it looks good to you, good to go!

Sorry I forgot to add that.

210 sec x 14 90 gain 20 offset
20 darks
Master Flat
Master bias
And BPM
Processed in APP for the channel split and combination and a tweak in PS

Thank you Peter, gives me reassurance on my processing, I find you can't have a picture placed here just to show to show others without a comment of maybe you should do this or that, instead of, I like what you did there.

Cheers
Karl

Really good Rosette especially when it’s descending low in the north west / west of an evening at present and dealing with lower level atmospheric dispersion too
Some great detail in amongst the nebulosity clouds
Rosette is not an easy target
Well done !!

Thank you Martin.

I had a different approach to processing today as bi colour is good but felt I could get more out of OSC and was able to manage it, compressing it for here takes away all the colour that were in. Here's the newer version.

Here's the TiFF on Astrobin

Very nice Karl. I like the subtlety of the colours and the pallet looks great. Well done.

I wish I had more time this year. I'd like to do a 2x2 panel mosaic of it next.

Great image. Low key colours and crisp detail.
