Some major prom activity 17/3/21

Saw on FB that a large prom was visible on the sun today. Grabbed the Ha scope and it was huge in the eyepiece so popped on the ASI290MM cam and grabbed about 5000 frames with the double stack module in place. Image is stack of 500 frames processed with AS!3, Registax 6 and PS.

Big prom indeed! Nicely captured Malcolm. Thanks for sharing..I haven't seen a morning Sun to image in 3 weeks.

Here is another version. Deliberately overexposed this one to try and make the actual prom details a bit clearer and get some of the fainter stuff either side of the main prom.
