Off the beaten path

This year I thought I would try and image objects I have never attempted to photograph from my home in suburban Sydney.

This is NGC 4361. A lovely planetary in Corvus.

Nice image.
You have got though even faint, the very boxy shape
That comes across in the O111 filter in a 16" scope.
Always a good planetary to go after while viewing in the area of M104 and NGC 4038/4039.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers

Thanks for posting this one Richard. It is always good to see planetary nebula images displayed well with lots of intriguing detail.

Thanks Rodney, Ron and Mike. Much appreciated.

I find with my setup, I get reasonable results with compact objects like PNs and galaxies. Here is my attempt at the antennae from the other night.
