Planewave PlateSolve and APM Catalog Installer

One for the Planewave community.

I was looking at different stand-alone plate solving programs and as part of that, I've recently downloaded PlateSolve2 and the ACAC3 Catalog from Planewave - plus something seemingly associated with PlateSolve called APM Catalog Installer. I am a bit puzzled about the APM utility though. Is it another form of the UCAC3 catalog or does it have some other role in the PlateSolve program?

It's another catalog that the solver can use. I've only recently downloaded it and run a few test images through it. It seems to be happy to solve with either or both catalogs.
