This was one of those poorly kept secrets, rumours of the discovery started to circulate in late September.

What ever happened to the rumour of gravitational waves from two colliding neutron stars in NGC4993? I assume this is a separate event which is still undergoing analysis. Regards Steven

Hi everyone, if you do a sound analysis of the collision, there seem to be a smaller subsequent "bang" following the bigger main "bang", does anyone know why this is the case?
