Perseids meteor shower, Sweden

Hi,
I just want to send you some photos from the Sagittarius star meeting held in Sweden, northen hemisphere.

It was the first time I and my girlfriend wisited this Sagittarius meeting, held at the second largest island in Sweden, Íland. During the meeting the Perseids was in full action.

Here I have done a mini report about this event:

Hi Rigel,
Thanks for the comments, happy to hear someone find it interesting to read what I write.

How about you, did you see any Perseid meteor?

Thanks for sharing also, seems like the Persieds put on a good show for the northern hemisphere this year from all accounts. Managed to see a few bright ones a day or so before the peak but was cold and windy down here most nights last week.

Hi,
I have to say that we had an outstanding luck, the day of the 9th of August there was rain and thunder, August 10 when we were there it was cloudy and windy until 22:00, suddenly the clouds disappeared and the wind stopped and we got a wonderful night with clear sky. The day after the 11th of August it was rain and wind again, but then we sat in the car heading home. The night of August 12, when the peak was there again clouds and bad weather.
