Horse and Flame

Hi all,
Got this one over a few nights and even some subs were taken when I drove out the gate on new years eve.
Im still having trouble getting Phd2 to work with my Imaging Source camera but thats another post.
I tried some 3 minute subs but no good without guiding.
Looks like my next invesment is a coma corrector.

30sec x 99
60sec x 99
120 sec x 30
Darks, flats, and bias subtracted
Stacked in DSS
Processed in Photoshop
Canon 450d moded
Skywatcher BD 150mm

Cheers
Andy

Nice image Tony.

I took my newt out for the first time the other night. I was stoked with the quality of the subs but a coma corrector is definitely on the wish list for me too. Mine is a full frame camera and I can promise you it only gets worse outside the APS-c FOV. The outside of my image looked like I'd asked Scotty to engage warp drive.

Very very nice image. Doesn't it just blow you away when you get it.
