Dob on Equatorial Platform > Autoguiding

Have been an imager for 20 years, using EQ mount, PHD guding, etc.

Now have a new dobsonian , with Argo Navis, on an equatorial platform, and I want to image, with autoguiding.

Anybody doing this? What equipment and software are you using?

An EQ platform does not have a dec axis so autoguiding will be difficult. If you set up a puslse guider that pulses the to axes of the Dob and have servo motors on the two dob axes it might work if the software doesn't get too confused. Calibration axes will be rotating.

Interesting project

Good Luck
