JUNE Photo Challenge - Entries (Please Post them here)

The Topic this month (thanks to RB) is : “The bush”
Anything to do with our wonderful bushland.

Reminders ...
* This thread is only for posting your entry, together with any comments/explanation/details you'd like to issue concerning your own photo.
[sometimes this may help sway the judges]
* comments on other peoples' entries, or if you have any "other" shots of your own you'd like to share, can be posted in the Comments and Rejects Thread -> HERE.
* only one entry (that's just one image) per person (but you can change it out at any time if you get a better one)
* the image must be your own work and
* all other normal forum rules, and image size limits, apply.

The image doesn't necessarily have to be taken this month, but in the spirit of the challenge, we encourage you to get out and engage with it.
In this regard, YES, the image may be one that you have previously posted, unless of course it has already been voted a previous photo challenge winner.

The winner of the public vote, which will be run at the end of the month, will get to choose next month's topic and have their photo added to our "Photo Challenge Hall of Fame".

Good Luck!

Govett's Leap, Blackheath, NSW

Just popped down the road and took a pic at Govett's Leap lookout, just spectacular scenery of the Australian bush.

"Little pig, little pig won’t you let me come in?"
"No, no, no, by the hair on my chinny, chin, chin."
"Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house in."
No, no, no, Mr. Wolf I will not let you in."
So he huffed,
and he puffed,
and he huffed and he puffed and he blew the house in.

This has got to be the most amazing house I've ever seen!
There's even bush growing from the house

I spotted it during an Anzac Day's drive in May and wow talk about stopping traffic - well me anyway. Out the car I got! This is in Maryvale in Cunningham's Gap, Queensland. It reminds me so much of the three little pigs nursery rhyme. I would hate to lean on any of those walls . If you can zoom in take a look at the mushroom shape of the ceiling . I hope this house is able to stand for some years to come because I need to see it again. It's very captivating off the road.

Tasmanian Rainforest

Admittedly, this was taken some years ago but, I am still drawn to this shot over & over...

The log, the moss, just a beautiful memory that is not really done justice in this shot... but, I'll have a go anyways...

Dandenong ranges national park

“The land is my mother. Like a human mother, the land gives us protection, enjoyment and provides our needs – economic, social and religious. We have a human relationship with the land: Mother, daughter, son. When the land is taken from us or destroyed, we feel hurt because we belong to the land and we are part of it.” – Djinyini Gondarra
