Making two mounts for cameras and scopes

Finished, less than 20 minutes

Sick of taking off a Manfrotto pan/tilt head to swap for Benro ball and socket then b&s for Wimberley Gimbal.

Tow additional Gitzo short columns are £130 EACH !

I never did this sort of thing before but when I joined here and saw what people did

I can't afford more than one tripod got the Gitzo at a bargain pre owned, and the 72mm ed skywatcher is perfect for it

This is indeed a wonderful if not unique site.
The people are great but come and go so one must realise that perhaps it is the fact that we have such excellent moderators. They are not power hungry as you find on so many sites and often let members run outside the lines only taking action where they can see a car crash ahead.
I am very happy you feel at home here and say you are asset contributing interesting posts and threads.
Each time I look at my electric focuser set up I think of you and how it was you that I can thank for the idea.

Good job, Jeremy. You were lucky finding exactly the right diameter to fit your tripod, these sort of jobs often require a lathe to make things fit.
