Moon taken with Nikon Coolpix P900

Took some pics of the moon the other night with my Nikon Coolpix P900 camera and don't look half bad. The first pic was taken at F6.5, ISO400, 428mm FL & 1/200th sec. The second pic, F6.5, ISO450, 643mm FL & 125th sec. The camera was mounted on a tripod. The quality suffers a bit owing to downsizing for IIS limit. The P900 was a relatively cheap camera and takes great photos but doesn't take movies.

Apparently the P1000 is even better but is more than twice the price of the P900.

I have a P900 for work, it has done quite a few shots of the moon since I have had it. The only donwnside I have found to the camera is for car club stuff, it has "Tracking" focus but it does not cope at all well with moving cars.

Just a fun thing to do and the images do lose definition by reducing the file size. Pretty windy conditions here at the moment so still good images considering. More pics below.
