Through cloud breaks and poor seeing.
Sm60+PST mod DS+x2.5 PM, ASI 174MM.
FC+AS3!+Registax5
Shows promise.

If the seeing ever improves (and the focus is a bit tighter) I may actually get some worthwhile results....
(The ASI 174 pixel size with the 102/500 scope is not a good match)

That is a really nice shot Ken. The detail is impressive. So this is what you needed the ASI174 for.

Thanks. It's not perfect, but gives enough encouragement to consider upgrading the camera - to the ASI 178 or ASI 183.

The ASI 174 is ideal for the longer focus spectroheliograph and gives excellent frame rates.
