Here's an image of the Moon and Jupiter at 7:30 this evening. It's a combination of 2 exposures assembled in PS7 (1/60 sec, f/16, 400iso for the Moon; 1 sec, f/8, 400iso for Jupiter). Taken with a tripod-mounted Pentax K100D and 300mm lens.
It's the first time I've tried combining exposures like this, and I'm quite happy with the result!
Hope you like it. Now it's time to get the scope out and have a look...
Great shots, Stephen! Puts my humble efforts into perspective...but I was amazed at capturing the jovian moons as well. Love the definition on the lunar surface you were able to get as well. Did you filter the lens?

Great shot!!!...I did couple of Jupiter and it's moons, plus the Moon separately. Took mine afocally through my scope. Jupiter didn't turn out so good....had the shakes!!!
Thanks for the comments everyone. It is amazing how easy it is to image Jupiter's moons near opposition! Hope the clouds cleared for those down South. (We actually had a heavy shower come through a couple of hours before taking these shots, but the sky cleared in time.)
John - I didn't use any filter for the Moon image, I just used a short enough exposure to avoid burning the image.
I dragged my 130mm newtonian out after taking these images, and the seeing seemed to be unusually good. Nice views of Io coming across the limb of Jupiter!
I caught a glimpse of this conjunction through an opening in the clouds. It looked great with Jupiter very close to the Moon. Your image captured this event very well.
