Carina Nebula

This is the Carina Nebula I took last night from Brisbane. There are 102 light frames and 20 dark frames each 30 seconds ISO 1600.

Is there a polar alignment option built into the Sky watcher AZ-EQ6 Syn-Scan controller or do you have to do it manually as I am having alignment issues and I have heard that polar alignment is the way to go. If anyone has any advice on that or if you have other alignment issues that would be great please.

You can see a little bit of trail in this image which was only 30 seconds. Thanks for your help!
