Carina Nebula

G’day all, this is my first earl attempt at Carina Nebula 40 images stacked in Sequator, 30 seconds each with 30 darks and 30 bias Frames

Nice one Peter. When you first get into imaging it's amazing how all that colour shows up.

Hi Peter
I think you have done a great job.
First I would get too much colour then later down the track no colour??? and my processing is only now at the level of producing an unrealistic cartoon looking image.
Takes time.
I say it often but try the burn tool on the slightly blown out regions and you may get a surprise but be gentle...I find it helpful but it takes time not to be heavy handed with it. And also the dodge tool helps lighten something for a little effect.

That's a terrific first go at Carina. Lots of colour and some nice details showing through. You should be happy with that result.
