NGC1566 The Spanish Dancer

NGC 1566, The Spanish Dancer, 69 Mly away in Dorado. Taken over 2 nights.

40 x 180 sec Blue
25 x 300 sec Ha
37 x 300 sec L
5 x 480 sec L
40 x 180 sec R
Total 9.83 hrs, 80% moon

ASI1600MM, ED127, ZWO 1.25” filters.
Processed in APP.

At 4' X 4' it is a small target.

You have done well Reggie, there is lots of good data there.

I would suggest you play around with different processing techniques and it will get even better.

I have found that too much saturation can cause 'texture' to appear.
Pay careful attention to the stretching (I do it in stages).

No experience imaging and processing the Spanish Dancer. But it looks good to me!!!
