Orion and Barnard's Loop

Hi everyone,

I took advantage of the clear sky Sunday 10/01/20 to attempt
my first try at imaging with a sequence.

I used APT to do some shots of the sky,
but trully wanted to capture Barnard's Loop.

Images stacked in Deep Sky Stacker
and prosessed with Photoshop,
( thanks Bob ! ).

11 x 90 second subs
ISO 3200
Canon 1100d modded with lens.
Skywatcher Star Adventure

Thanks for looking.

Comments welcomed.

Paul.

A great wide field shot Paul.

Wasn't it a great night!

Your image has lots going on so well done.

And remember to take a log of each night, target, settings etc.

Thanks Peter,

Yes a log would be handy, APT saves the image
information but not the equipment !

Not sure what lens I used for this, I was trying a few on
the night.

And yes it was a great night, hopefully we get a few more soon ?

This is my first time with photoshop, I can now understand what
the fuss is about when it comes to processing.

Thanks again, take care.

Paul
