Nebulosity around Jabbah

Ended up with a myriad of issues after I went to sleep last night, everything happens the moment you turn your back on your imaging setup! I have a 12V to cigarette socket that I use to power my dew prevention, let's just say that the wires had twisted (after two years of use) inside that socket and I woke up to lots of dew on my dew prevention straps Oh and dew on everything else as well! The dew threw off the auto focus routine so I ended up with a bit of data that was dew effected and out of focus

Here is 3x300s with the D810 and 130mm around Jabbah.

Ah Col, man!...your rig keeps testing you while you are asleep huh? ...perhaps it is possessed by a Poltergeist or maybe it astral travels while you are not looking..? The result here is quite nice though

Gremlins Mike, they live amongst us!
I’m using your field as a benchmark to work towards, hoping that I’ll eventually complete all of the panels to get it in there Going to try the Honders and D810 this Thursday and see if a new adapter will allow focus.

Really need more data before posting something that approaches full resolution It looks decent at this resolution but the amount of noise reduction I did was frightening!

Nice one Colin. I know how you feel, a couple of weeks ago I did a 4 Hour run only to realize at the end of the run, that I had forgotten to turn the cooling on, so my camera ran at around 13 degrees C for most of the session. You just to have to laugh it off, there is always another night waiting around the corner.

Cheers
Peter
