Don't worry, since it is 'mondatory' you only need to reply on Mondays. The quality of English expression displayed in this 'notice' reflects poorly on our education system.

Edit: I notice that you are only required to comply if you are a beneficiary, not merely a recipient. Therefore the parcel must contain your inheritance or some form of gift or benefit before you are affected. Further, I am puzzled by the term 'final delivery'. What other sort is there? I've certainly never heard of a 'semi-final delivery' or a 'penultimate delivery' (except perhaps at the end of a cricket match).

You mustn't have dealt with Australia Post much then...

Sorry to upset people but I get really bloody annoyed when people complain that they HAVE been scammed and lost money

I am 60+ and NEVER fallen for a scam

People hand over bank details, card details, even cards, serve them right

THIRTY years ago there were public tv announcements "When you go on holiday remember to cancel the milk and papers" DUH, as thieves would see them on the doorstep and know you are away

Now you need to be told don't reply to emails, phone calls etc

One I and my son get more than weekly is either a call from BT, or started this week "Visa "You have had £600 taken from your card, press 1"

I have no hesitation in telling you that I am very verbally abusive to the person and go out of my way to speak to them, sorry, gives me pleasure

We have a silent number, but still get random home phone calls. I tell my daughters to answer and say nothing, and then if it is the usual chinese or indian, hang up.

I answered one a week or so ago. She asked if Mr Shields was in. I said - in my worst impersonation of an elderly voice - yes (even though it isn't me), what do you want? She told me she was ringing about my medical insurance claim for $72,000 for my knee injury.

I told her there must be a mistake, as I was claiming $1.5million for a botched circumcision.

She said that was too much and that it must be for less. I then said "Luv, if you only saw how big it was before they lopped it off, you'd bloody be suing for $1.5mill too!" and hung up.

It's about the 10th insurance scam call I have answered. I am not sure what they hope to achieve with a wrong name and false claim, except maybe I could claim the money falsely...
